Severe Error In Dependencycheck Tomcat
Severe Error In Dependencycheck Tomcat
The "invalid header field" comes from java.util.jar.Attributes when a line, continuations included, doesn't contain a colon, or the colon isn't followed by the required space. I would like to know whether it relates to Windows vs. >>>> Linux. When I >>> deployed the project and started the Tomcat server. What game is this? breaking a line at very defined points Should non-native speakers get extra time to compose exam answers? It gave me the same error "java.io.IOException: invalid header field". if the war is a valid zip it's probably being corrupted as a result of your transfer process ie going onto or from your pen drive. Create a new folder in webapps and copy the contents of the project into the new folder • Error message:- SEVERE: Error in dependencyCheck java.util.zip.ZipException: invalid entry size (expected 8389028 but I checked my project's menisfest file but it was correct. So, head over to where your web application has its jar files and check if those jar files are OK.
random. how to fix this? I got the error: >> >> SEVERE: Error in dependencyCheck >> java.io.IOException: invalid header field >> at java.util.jar.Attributes.read(Unknown Source) >> at java.util.jar.Manifest.read(Unknown Source) >> at java.util.jar.Manifest.
Essentially, you have to find the rogue jar in your WEB-INF/lib that does not have a manifest file and make sure you put in a manifest for it or, if the check that the war generation procedure is not failing and that the war file is a valid zip file prior to copying to your pen drive etc. what i want to do is deploy the application on my linux computer that is acting as my server. Then I checked this project out from a Windows box, > Eclipse Europa, also using JDK 1.5, Tomcat 6.

I have no idea which project causes the error. check my blog There is has been much discussion about this specific error in various mail files, and someone even put it into the Cocoon FAQ on their wiki (without a satisfactory answer). When I deploy to Tomcat and start the server the "Error in dependencyCheck" results. But I was doing it from a folder above as described in issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MTOMCAT-104 - once I changed my working directory to where the WAR is located, I resolved the issue. –Philippe
Check the "WebContent\META-INF\MANIFEST.MF" file in your checked out project and see what it contains. if you're on another operating system you probably don't need to change the extension.
