though they're generally not recommended, it might be better than taking apart your drive... have a peek at these guys Sometimes at random whenever i continue a multisession data CD writing to CD-R media (different brands of quality media) everything seems like its going to work, burns all the way to Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Sioux City,IA Posts: 2,137 open up Nero CD-DVD speed and click the disc info tab Share Share this post on Digg Del.icio.us Technorati Twitter Facebook Reddit! Please can anybody help by explaining what may be the issue here and also what some of the lines I have quoted from the logs mean technically? Sense Key: 0x05 (KEY_ILLEGAL_REQUEST)8. It's strange because I can burn a DVD or burn and iso image, just not data files? check over here I had major problems myself and your post reminded me to not become frustrated and use my dormant brain and also to stick to basics I finally used the "force" package

This is my main problem as none of my DL DVDs could be cut. The other thing is that I see how many hits are in google and yet Nero doesn't address this issue on any of their FAQ pages.... this is similar to what you should see - Recorder: HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GWA-4082N, Media type: DVD-R Disc Manufacturer: TYG02 - Disc Application Code: 64, Disc Physical Code: 193Click to expand... - Quote 1st Aug 200502:38 #10 Frankensmith View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message Member Join Date : Jan 2005 You're gonna LOVE THIS!!!
Watching H.264 (and other) videos using CUDA/D... or am I just wasting space?" I digress... Only thing to do hereafter is to throw the CD away, its useless since i'm not able to read whats written to the disc. http://onepointcom.com/session-fixation/session-fixation-error-nero-8.html Read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning.
I'd already made 4 coasters ( which is alot when you've got used to the buffer underrun protection). But, next time you get a fixation error, check which FOLDER in Windows Explorer is highlighted. I even run adware daily so no cookies or spyware... XP 64 bit?
